Have you ever tried a Nex Labs experience? Nex Labs is our way of testing new game ideas, and one that really resonated this year is Chroma Crew.
Choose your skater, then lean, jump, and crouch to perform some sweet tricks. You’ll sling paint as you skateboard around the course, boosing your brush’s size as you combo your moves. Your goal: cover as much of the course as you can with your paint color.

Did you know that Gabby’s Dollhouse: A-meow-zing Moves has 8 rooms open and ready to play? Now you can join Marty the Party Cat in the attic Party Room for a cat-tastic celebration.
Marty joins Mercat, Kitty Fairy, DJ Catnip, Pillow Cat, Baby Box, Cakey Cat, and Carlita, each bringing their own unique mini-game to the experience. If you haven’t gotten tiny in a while, we suggest giving those ears a pinch and jumping back into the dollhouse today.
If you’re looking to keep your workout fresh, try Zumba: Fitness Party. New routines have been added each month since the game launched in August, and the November and December updates really brought the heat.
November added the 14-song “Find Your Groove” routine, plus the new Daily Workout feature for a quick fitness fix. And December brought the new routine “Fired Up” with 15 new songs to play.
Bonus feature: Was picking up the remote after each song throwing off your groove? Now you can select “Play All” at the start of a workout and breathe during a built-in, 20-second break between songs. Don’t need a rest? Give a clap to step straight into the next beat.
It’s time to start up those tiny engines… Miniacs now has 5 new tracks to explore! Race through a not-so-cozy cafe, avoid pig attacks as you zoom through a barnyard, or battle for first place in a robotics factory.
With new tracks to tackle, and the addition of the 150cc game mode, Miniacs is ready for even more hours of racing fun.
Starri added 18 new songs this year, including “Happy” by Pharrell, “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter, and “Sugar” by Maroon 5 this December.

2025 was a big year for Barbie Dance Party. Ken joined the fun, hitting the dance floor with some of his favorite tunes, including Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling”.
December also gave Brooklyn and Malibu a chance to show off their unique styles with Demi Lovato’s “Confident”. Altogether, 6 new choreographed songs joined the party this year, giving your family 10 ways to groove with Barbie, Barbie, and Ken.
The updates above can be played any time after release, but that’s not the only new content dropped in November and December. Nex also released loads of special, limited-time game updates for Play Pass holders to enjoy.
Autumn Afterburn, the final NexGym event of 2025, challenged you to get active ahead of the holidays with a mix of cardio and strength training. This event has now ended, but don’t fret: more fitness challenges are coming your way soon.
Then December brought loads of limited-time updates, adding a little festive fun to some fan-favorite games. These included an advent-style Copy Cat Deluxe event, new collectibles in Bowling Strike!, and a series of wintery missions to complete in Kung Fu Panda: Train Like a Master (with 2 special Winter events in NHL Puck Rush still to come).
Also launched this December: Winter Wonders, introducing a brand-new way to experience all that Play Pass offers. With daily quests, whimsical trophies, and a customizable Winter Island, this experience brought something truly magical to the Playground seasonal line-up.
