Make Room for Movement this Fall With the NexGym Autumn Challenge
The Autumn NexGym Challenge Is Here
The fall season means busy schedules, shorter days, and a to-do list that never seems to stop growing. But starting October 28th, the NexGym Autumn Challenge helps you make room for movement with digital medals, invigorating workouts, and brand-new community features to bring the fun back to fitness.

What Is the NexGym Autumn Challenge?
The NexGym Autumn Challenge is a 15-workout fitness challenge on Nex Playground with Play Pass. Starting October 28th, complete 10 workouts before December 1 to earn your digital medal, then opt in to Overdrive to keep going.
How Does the NexGym Autumn Challenge Work?
Finish 10 workouts by December 1 to earn your digital medal. Then opt in to Overdrive to add two more workouts, upgrading your badge to Level I. Then complete three more workouts to take it to Level II. Each finished workout counts toward your total.
| Goal | Workouts | Deadline | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Complete the challenge | 10 | December 1 | Digital medal |
| Overdrive Level I | 12 | December 7 | Level I Upgrade |
| Overdrive Level II | 15 | December 14 | Level II Upgrade |
What Workouts Are in the Autumn Challenge?
Each challenge day offers two different workout options, so you’re never stuck doing just squats. Across the challenge, the workouts rotate through legs, abs, upper body, and cardio, with options hosted in NexGym, BoxFlow Fitness, and Zumba: Fitness Party. Weights are optional, but a favorite addition from community members.
| Workout Type | Option 1 | Option 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Legs + Abs | NexGym lower body | NexGym abs |
| Upper Body | NexGym upper body | BoxFlow Fitness (hip hop, EDM, or pop) |
| Cardio | NexGym Cardio | Zumba: Fitness Party |
These movements mirror your everyday life, from squats and lunges for strengthening your legs to rows and presses for lifting and carrying around your littles. Pick the option that matches your energy, and switch it up whenever you like.
New in NexGym: Cheer On Your Fellow Challengers
Thanks to the latest NexGym update, you can now see how many challengers are working out live alongside you. If you see a little number in the bottom right corner of your screen, that means other challengers are also online.
But don’t worry, no one can see you—this light only shows that another person is logged on and tackling their daily movement at the same time as you.
You can even send your new workout friends a virtual high five by simply raising your left hand on the target during rest periods. High fives are currently only live in NexGym workouts, not BoxFlow Fitness or Zumba: Fitness Party.
Want a workout buddy beyond the screen? Join fellow challengers in the Nex Playground Insider Community Group to swap tips and celebrate progress. Players of every level are welcome and encouraged to join.

Autumn Challenge FAQs
When does the NexGym Autumn Challenge end?
Finish your first 10 workouts before December 1 at 10:00 UTC to earn your digital medal. Overdrive deadlines are December 7 for Level I and December 14 for Level II, also at 10:00 UTC.
Can I do both workout options in one day?
Yes. Each challenge day offers two workout options, and completing either one earns credit for that day. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can take on both, which is a fun way to try BoxFlow Fitness or Zumba: Fitness Party alongside NexGym. However, only one workout per day will count toward your badge progress.
Do I need weights or resistance bands for the challenge?
No. Weights and resistance bands are optional in NexGym Challenges. They’re a community-favorite way to take the workouts even further, but you can complete every workout without them. Start with whatever you have at home.
Can everyone in my family earn a medal?
Yes. Each NexGym profile that completes the challenge can earn its own medal, so everyone in the family can join in. Just be sure to check that the right profile is selected before each workout so your progress counts.
